I believe that there are 3 basic requirements to make money with online business and they are:

1) A product
2) A targeted list of potential buyers
3) A website with updated relevant information.

If you translate this to a real business, say for example a shop; If there are no customers who want to buy what you are selling; if the shelves of the shop have no stock or if the shop stocks the shelves with product no one wants; you probably don’t have a profitable business. The same can be said when it comes to making money with online business.

There are thousands of website providing information about how to created products and what color to make the font and how to upload videos to your site, in fact sometimes it can be so overwhelming that you can be frozen into doing nothing and you will end up not making money with online business.

But one of the secrets to making money with online business is taking the time to do something and being consistent at it. Find a simple product and get it online, even if the design is not brilliant. It is better to do something that is not perfect than not to do anything at all. Once the site is up and running, you have time to make it look pretty, but just get it up and running. Focus on one product at a time. Choose one and save the rest for later.

Don’t fall victim to the fear and do nothing. Simply select your product, get it online and slowly start to make money with online business.

There are many ways that can help you in the art of making money from the internet, but I came across this little gem the other day.

No doubt by now you have heard of You Tube. If you haven’t heard of it where have you been hiding? You Tube is a social network site where it is possible (very easily) to promote yourself using video. And lots of people are making money from the Internet using these kinds of sites. Do you want to know one way? Read on!

If you go to You Tube and type in a subject such “Making Money Online” you will be given a number of videos to choose from. When I did this the 1st video that came up in the selection had over 83,000 hits and had been online for 6 months. Do you think the person who put this video up on the website was making money from the internet?
Let’s see how.

83,000 hits in 6 months is an average of 13,833 hits per month. Now beside the video, there is a link to his website. If the video is interesting enough, people will click on the link and go to his website and this is the 1st part to making money from the internet.

Let’s just imagine that the link to his website is selling a product (e-book or training program) for 49US$, which is actually not that expensive. Now if only 1 percent of the viewers per month go to his website and buy the product then he will be making an average of over 6700US$ per month. Now let’s imagine that his conversion rate is low
and only 0.5% actually buy. He is still making over 3,300US$ per month. Not bad for a small 5 minute video. Now what if he had 10 videos on You Tube all doing the same thing? Can you see yourself making money from the internet doing this very same thing?

At first, you probably won’t get this kind of results. It will take a little time to get noticed and to get people to buy from you. Trust is at an all time low in the world and people generally take a little time getting to know you online before buying, but there should be no reason why you can make an extra couple of hundred dollars per month while you are learning the art of making money from the internet.
