So you have finally decided to start making money on the internet and that is really great. I congratulate you as this is what it is all about and a fantastic way to start creating multiple streams of income, and it is possible to make money quick.
But there are not just the physical things such as hosts, servers, domain names, ftp sites, web design and other really important issues, but you also need to consider the kind of person that you need to be to make money online. Do you know how to start your own business and do you know anything about investing money or are you just looking to work from home? You need to know what you want and know that this is not going to be free money or easy money.

1 Work Long Hours
First you will need the ability to work long hours in front of a screen (if you are looking to make money online), so you should have access to a computer easily. also if you get easily bored or distracted you may need to remove some of these distractions, such as television and kids. It will take a long time to do all of this correctly and if this is the 1st time the learning curve can be quite slow.
2 You really have to start somewhere
Some people want to study everything they can before they start, but believe me when I say that you cannot learn everything. As in never. It is sufficient to learn enough and get going and as you master teach step move on to the next one. Take your time in getting it right, but better to do something a little wrong than not to do it. Online is a wonderful way for certain people to make money, stay at home mums and dads and there are lots of ways for kids to make money also.
3 Set yourself a financial limit
One of the things that you are meant to be doing is making money, however in order to get started, you will need to spend some up front. You will need to buy domain names, and pay for hosting and other items as you go, but you should know how much money you can spend at a time and do not go over that limit until you start to get a return. Once you start to make a bit of money, you can invest in the new areas that you need. You should be prepared to start investing money and you should also know how to save money.
4 Don’t reinvent the wheel
The internet has been around a long time and if you follow the system it works. If you want to make money, then follow the system. do not try to do it your way or to cut corners. It may take longer to do it correctly, but in the end it will be worth it. I will say this again. If you want to make money, follow the rules. you probably won’t make money fast in the beginning, but it will come together slowly. Don’t give up.
5 Support System
Make sure that your family understand what you are doing, especially if you are married with kids as they are going to stop seeing you as much. The internet ruined my social life for a while during the period that I was setting things up. Once it was running, people saw me again, but for about a month I often worked until 2am in the morning. It is important that you have understanding support. Having people who support you and giving you ideas can also help as you will need creative ways to make extra money online.
6 Don’t expect immediate results
It took me about 6 days before I got my first 1US$ from Adsense. It will take time before you start making money so do not give up or expect to be a millionaire overnight. It simply won’t happen and don’t be upset if nothing seems to happen for a while. This is not an easy money / free money system. you will need to be investing money in what you are doing.
